mkfs.xfs with default options on an 100GB partition, resulted in 70GB total
file system size. Looks like there is a bug in the 2.9.5 version of xfsprogs
with default options. I unmasked 2.9.7 and it has fixed it (I get 94GB total fs
size).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create 100GB patition
2. Run mkfs.xfs /dev/<partition>
3.
Actual Results:
Drastically reduced FS size!!!
Expected Results:
Reasonable total FS size
Talked to #xfs IRC channel in which they indicated a bug in 2.9.5 version,
would love to see this ebuild go away.
2.9.5 is already stable, I guess you meant 2.9.7? changing summary
adding release@ with assumption xfsprogs is part of LiveCD's
Stable on alpha. Note that I couldn't test for the described bug since my disks
aren't big enough.
Updated in release snapshot. We are last, FIXED.
