A new version has been available since January. Please note that I added RDEPEND="" to the ebuild so that it no longer depends on X after building. It is required by jfbterm(#20538) to have that terminal running on framebuffer without installing X. jfbterm uses pcf fonts but X so there is no point depending on entire X distribution.

I updated the ebuild accroding to the change in portage tree (from x11-misc to media-fonts). 1. Added IUSE="" variable 2. Added ~alpha, ~sparc and ~ppc to KEYWORDS 3. Changed install target directory from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/shinonome to /usr/share/fonts/shinonome 4. Modified post-merge notice respectively regards, Mamoru KOMACHI aka usata
