CC'ing maintainer. BTW, Michael, do you want netmon to became backup herd for nmap? I'm not going to say that we have lot's of devs to help you with nmap now (netmon is currently understaffed ATM), but nmap perfectly fits our herd... Just setting use-flag 'deprecated' for dev-lang/lua works fine for me. Fixed in CVS. Peter: that would be great, feel free to update nmap's metadata.xml :) Created attachment 146874 [details, diff]
nmap-4.53.diff
dev-lang/lua
5.1.3-r1(09.42.54 2008-03-21)(readline -deprecated -static)
installed, but lua flag does not set, when tried to merged nmap, but it emitted the same error message as above.
So this patch, disables trying to use lua when lua flag is not set.
