Bug 209112 - gnome-extra/zim-0.23 version bump
Hi,
the nice one-man desktop wiki had several version bumps in the last months: The
current version is 0.23...
I'll attach the current ebuild. One "problem" currently exists with the
handling of the plugins: I added a useflag for each new plugin which simply
pulls in the dependencies. But this is the only thing it does: Neither will the
plugin be enabled in the program nor will disabled plugins be not available. So
perhaps this should be changed to something similar to the git-ebuild: Just
print additional plugin dependencies in postinst. (And this would also avoid a
useflag-explosion).
I'll also attach two bumped ebuilds for dependencies: As zim is the only
package depending on them (ok ... there is one more package), I thought two
extra threads wouldn't be needed. If I'm wrong, tell me ;)

zim-0.23.ebuild
Here is the zim-ebuild.
One more notice: In the old version the patch had the PV in the name - in this
ebuild I made it fix (0.20) ... perhaps this should be handled in another way.

dev-perl/File-BaseDir-0.03.ebuild
One of the dependencies: dev-perl/File-BaseDir-0.03 (was 0.02)
Only a small change: The location of the source changed (CPAN inconsistency
ftw)

D'oh. Sorry - checked two days ago - then created the ebuilds. *Note to self:
Check again when finished* :)
I've been running this for a while ... its at least as stable as the previous
version, which is to say its never given me /any/ problems ... can this be
pushed to tree, please? :D
There's yet another duplicate of this bug ... and I've now been running 0.23
for more than a month.
I know we all do this in our free time, but what's the hold-up?

Couple factors, 1, I don't actually use Zim anymore, so Coldwind is free to
take over if he wants it, and 2, I have been fairly afk (if you look I have
been set as devaway for quite a while now, and thats not about to change any
time soon - things I consider important get bumped/fixed - a package that I no
longer use is not on that list, sorry.

Aye that's only fair enough.
Well, the ebuild in my local is going fine for me, I hope Coldwind will take
over for the rest of us Zim users :)
did it myself, thanks necoro
