KNetworkConfig is a KDE KControl Module that is installed if you do a:
emerge kde
with monolithic packages,
But it's not installed with split packages cause it's not present in
kdeadmin-meta.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kdeadmin-meta
2. go to kcontrol -> no Network Settings in there!
3. d'oh
Actual Results:
there's no network settings sections in kcontrol!
Expected Results:
... there should be a network settings section in kcontrol
kde-base/kdeadmin (or you can use KDE4 ;)
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 19413 ***
kde-base/kdeadmin can`t be installed as a split package!
It can't be installed as a split package, and it's not present in kdeadmin-meta
so i think that this is a bug.

I prefer calling it a "non-feature" ;-) but: Fixed in CVS.
