I've created an Ebuild for dnsmasq (1.5_1), whose home page is currently at 
http://thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/doc.html. 
 
The attached archive contains all the files needed for the ebuild. The ebuild installs the daemon, its 
man page, an rc-script for the daemon and the corresponding conf.d file.

if this helps to accelerate the addition of this package to the emerge tree,
i've installed and used this ebuild on 2 routers i use for home lan's and didnt
have any problems ... both cases run great
