I realized that I don't need guile support on this system apart from gnucash,
and disabling this USE flag "solved" the problem for me.
Try to emerge guile with USE=networking. This solved it on my box.

Yes. crypto team,
In src_test you must check for enabled guile USE flag and skip tests if
dev-scheme/guile has been built without USE=networking.
