Created an attachment (id=139047) [details]
compiling ebuild

I attached my modified ebuild: it compiles fine the 1.0.0 version on my amd64.

simgear 1.0.0 was already in portage. Why you don't like that? Maybe you forget
to run "emerge --sync" ?

hm, you're right, I didn't run emerge --sync recently, so I wasn't aware of the
simgear 1.0.0 ebuild...

Version 1.0.0 is added to portage. Thanks

That is strange. I just did an emerge --sync but till no flightgear 1.0?!

You should retry. I see it in one of the mirrors.

I am emerging flightgear 1.0 now :)
