I just found out that swfdec has a separate player for the GNOME desktop.
Attached is an ebuild for this player.

swfdec is still under heavy development and breaks ABI every time. How about
play safe, depend on swfdec-0.5.4* instead?

I didn't knew swfdec hat these API issues. I'm fine with
"=media-libs/swfdec-0.5.4*" and it would be the same as net-www/swfdec-mozilla.
Again no complains from me :-)
