I'm using output via a serial port.  baselayout scripts don't send control
characters over the serial port.  The output of the linuxrc script manages to
leave the console in bold mode.  I finally got annoyed enough to clean it up.

Is there a better why to communicate patches to the genkernel team?  Or should
I just keep using bugzilla.

This patch is in SVN. Thanks.

Bugzilla is the preferred way for sending patches.

This is fixed in 3.4.9_pre12, so please try it out and report back any
problems.
