Description Christian Heim (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-11 20:31:08 UTC
The current stable version (net-dialup/globespan-adsl-0.10) isn't compiling against the current stable gentoo-sources (2.6.22-r8 at the time of filing this bug). So please CC the arch teams (aiming for KEYWORDS="amd64 x86", current are KEYWORDS="~amd64 ~x86").

Okay, let's shoot for the latest working version, which appears to be net-dialup/globespan-adsl-0.12 for me.

Since there are no recent relevant bugs, CC'ing x86 and amd64 arch teams.

x86 stable
Comment 3 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-02 19:44:26 UTC
Normally, I would ask to bump the priority on this so we can get it stable on amd64, but since amd64 has never had a stable version, it doesn't really matter. If this goes stable in the next couple days, it'll be included for amd64 on their media. Otherwise, this won't make it into the release.

Anybody have an amd64 box and the actual hardware to test this?
Comment 5 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-23 17:07:20 UTC
Since we never had a stable keyword before, marking 0.12 stable can't break anything and far as I can see it builds, and installs correctly.

amd64 stable.
