<net-dialup/ppp-2.4.4-r11 should block =sys-apps/baselayout-2* (or maybe
>=sys-apps/baselayout-2.0.0_alpha1).
Earlier versions of ppp don't have defaultmetric support which baselayout-2's
pppd script uses.

Please mark ppp-2.4.4 stable. Changes occured since -r9:
 - pppd creates /dev/ppp device when it doesn't already exist (bug 163098)
 - new defaultmetric option (now it doesn't fail to add the default route when
a default route already exists but has a different metric than the one selected
by this new option)
 - depend on gtk-2 instead gtk-1 (bug 189350)
 - better ip-{up,down} scripts (bug 190143)

keywords this version will have.
