This one is kinda complicated. The etc/env.d file needs changing as well so I think you want a blocker here. As long as gtk2-ssh-askpass is in the tree then you cannot do a pkgmove.
%% cat 99ssh_askpass SSH_ASKPASS=/usr/bin/ssh-askpass-fullscreen File collision with gtk2-ssh-askpass if installed already. Here is what I would do (and volunteer to baby-sit if requested). - Throw ssh-askpass-fullscreen in the tree (with the blocker), wait 30 days, get it stabled on all arches. - After it is stabled, get gtk2-ssh-askpass to be pkgmoved to ssh-askpass-fullscreen, remove the blocker bit, and viola, users have a normal upgrade path. I am not *quite* sure if this is the proper way to do it but now LDFLAGS are respected.
@Jeremy, feel free to put yourself as maintainer in metadata.xml, I bet most guys in gnome herd don't really care about this package since we have gnome-keyring integration and or simpler keychain/pam_ssh, ... I will be removing gtk2-ssh-askpass after the new one gets stabled. Thanks. |
