Bug 192351 – gnome-games-2.18.x impossible to build without several new dependencies?

There seem to be a huge new dependency string for the gnome-games package - is there no way to make some of them optional? I'm running Xfce. Thanks for any help.

no way to fix that until gnome-python-{desktop,extras}, which most games use, are modified.

duping against 108479 to clean up bugzilla.

Use Arun's git overlay if you want to keep track of this but don't add no need to comment until the eclass is reviewed on gentoo-dev mailing list since a review was done last week and Arun is currently away.
