Here's a list of target keywords for X packages, based on a scan through http://gentoo.tamperd.net/stable/index.php?category_view=&herd_select=x11&category_select=All If you try to stable xorg-server-1.3 and anything else needs to go stable, please hit them too. It may be convenient to download this list as a text file and just grep it for the keyword of interest, so I'll attach it as well. app-doc/xorg-docs-1.4-r1: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ~mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 app-doc/xorg-sgml-doctools-1.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 media-fonts/font-bitstream-100dpi-1.0.0: hppa ppc sparc x86 media-fonts/font-bitstream-75dpi-1.0.0: hppa ppc64 sparc x86 media-fonts/font-bitstream-type1-1.0.0: hppa mips ppc64 sparc x86 media-libs/freeglut-2.4.0-r1: mips x11-apps/grandr-0.1: ppc x86 x11-apps/iceauth-1.0.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-apps/mkfontscale-1.0.3: ppc x11-apps/setxkbmap-1.0.4: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-apps/x11perf-1.4.1: mips x11-apps/xbacklight-1.1: x86 x11-apps/xhost-1.0.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-apps/xinit-1.0.4: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 s390 sh x86 x11-apps/xrandr-1.2.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-base/xorg-server-1.3.0.0: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 sh x86 x11-drivers/xf86-input-acecad-1.2.0: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sh sparc x86 x11-drivers/xf86-input-fpit-1.1.0-r1: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 sh sparc x86 x11-drivers/xf86-input-joystick-1.2.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sh sparc x86 x11-drivers/xf86-input-magictouch-1.0.0.5: ppc sparc x11-drivers/xf86-input-mouse-1.2.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 sh sparc x86 x11-drivers/xf86-input-penmount-1.2.0: ppc x11-drivers/xf86-video-i810-2.1.0: amd64 arm ia64 sh x86 x11-drivers/xf86-video-nsc-2.8.2: sh x11-drivers/xf86-video-nv-2.1.2: alpha amd64 arm ia64 ppc ppc64 sh x86 x11-drivers/xf86-video-siliconmotion-1.5.1: sh x11-drivers/xf86-video-sis-0.9.3: amd64 arm ia64 ppc sh x86 x11-drivers/xf86-video-tseng-1.1.1: sh x11-drivers/xf86-video-vesa-1.3.0: alpha x11-drivers/xf86-video-via-0.2.2: sh x11-libs/libX11-1.1.2-r1: alpha arm hppa ia64 m68k mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh x86 x11-libs/libXcomposite-0.4.0: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 sh sparc x86 x11-libs/libXfont-1.3.0: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 m68k ppc ppc64 s390 sh x86 x11-libs/libXi-1.1.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-libs/libXtst-1.0.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-misc/driconf-0.9.1: amd64 ppc x86 x11-misc/makedepend-1.0.1: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-misc/transset-0.1_pre20040821: amd64 ppc x86 x11-misc/videogen-0.32: amd64 ppc x11-misc/xcompmgr-1.1.3-r1: amd64 ppc sparc x86 x11-misc/xkeyboard-config-0.9: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 m68k mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-proto/compositeproto-0.4: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86 x11-proto/inputproto-1.4.2: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 m68k mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86

Vapier: There's m68k stuff in there too, but I don't know of an alias.
I'm working on this for amd64/x86...
It looks like we also need >=x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.37.6 stable on amd64 and
I don't have an ATI card to test with, so can someone from amd64 with ATI
hardware resolve bug #188794 please.
Thanks
OK. Everything is stable on amd64/x86 *except* xorg-server-1.3.0.0 on amd64,
which cannot go stable until bug #188794 is done. Because of this, I'm adding
a note to stabilize xorg-server-1.3.0.0 on that bug, instead. I hope that this
is acceptable.
net-misc/vnc-4.1.2-r3 or -4 also needs to be stabilized.
The stable -r2 depends on ~x11-base/xorg-server-1.2.0 only.
Otherwise I get this:

ppc/ppc64 done. I keyworded vnc-4.1.2-r3 as well. I don't seem to be having any trouble with xorg-docs (bug #191661) but if something does come up that needs attention, please re-add ppc/ppc64. Thanks!
hppa is missing: font-bitstream-type1-1.0.0.ebuild amd64 is missing: x11-misc/xkeyboard-config-0.9 And you may want to stabilize: media-fonts/font-bitstream-type1-1.0.0 as well sparc stable
(In reply to comment #11) > hppa is missing: > font-bitstream-type1-1.0.0.ebuild Thanks. Stable for HPPA.
As far as i can see this is done
