Description:   Opened: 2007-08-12 21:54 0000
With the gnome 2.18 stabilization, the new gtk-engines e-build's engine xml
descriptor files contain syntax that the gtk+ version in
emul-linux-x86-gtklibs-10.0-r1 doesn't like. This results in the inability to
customize the gtk theme in 32-bit gtk+ applications like firefox-bin.
I re-built my own emul-linux-x86-gtklibs by building all the packages listed in
the ebuild using the instructions at:
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/emul/

Any chance the emul-linux packages can be updated in portage sometime?

Thanks.

With gnome 2.18 going stable, we definitely need to update the 32bit gtk,
anyone who has the build env ready can do this?
