This is because of 2 things:
1) Wrong dependency in ebuild introduced by me in Bug 181553. The correct
dependency is ~app-mobilephone/gammu-1.11.0 (or, more precisely something
between 1.10.6 and 1.11.0)
2) Bug in gammu-1.12 (which is causing your build to fail). From version 1.12,
gammu includes it's internal dependencies in gammu.h like this:
#include <gammu-*.h>
But all gammu*.h files reside in /usr/include/gammu/. Compiler correctly looks
for includes files in /usr/include/[gammu-*.h], which do not exist.
This could be fixed by reverting to #include "gammu-*.h" syntax or by correctly
specifying path: #include <gammu/gammu-*.h>
Workaround for your bug is to downgrade to gammu-1.11, as you propably know.
Note: While both problems should be solved, the second should have its own bug
filled (maybe on both gentoo and gammu bugzilla). I'll do that when I find
time.
Oh, I forgot to mention (just for completeness) that kmobiletools-0.5.0_beta3
will never build against >=gammu-1.12 because of huge API changes in gammu. (in
fact, gammu is being converted to something actually usable as a library and
with stable API, which involves breaking the API :) )
