gnuplot-4.0-r2 needs to be stabilized because it includes a patch to support current stable libggi. GGI is going stable for bug 180569. new patch for gnuplot-4.2.0 + GGI
I've created new one, b/c 4.2.0 did partially merge 4.0.x's patch.
To summarize this to avoid confusion: 4.0-r1 is unpatched and needs to die. 4.0-r2 is patched, and needs to go stable. 4.2 has patch included in this bug which needs to be applied. (In reply to comment #4) > I've created new one, b/c 4.2.0 did partially merge 4.0.x's patch. Great. Is applied in 4.2.0, I will report it upstream. All major arches have it stable, so closing this bug. Upstream rejected the patch as no one can verify it will work on all supported platforms. |
