Description:   Opened: 2007-06-27 06:04 0000
I was about to file a bug report requesting the stabilization of
app-arch/ppmd-9.1_p10 on AMD64 when I noticed that when running PPMd the
standard way - i.e. PPMd e <file> - gives a segmentation fault.

The same applies to app-arch/ppmd-9.1_p8.

$ echo -e "hi\nbye" > hello
$ PPMd e hello

(with FEATURES="nostrip" CXXFLAGS="-O1 -pipe -g -ggdb")
$ gdb --args PPMd e hello
GNU gdb 6.6

(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/bin/PPMd e hello
