net-analyzer/mrtg is at version 2.9.22 in portage. The current version at this
time is 2.9.27 , making it 5 versions behind.

I'm requesting mrtg be updated.

As a side note, media-libs/libgd-1.8.3-r6 fails to compile, which mrtg depends
on. 
This is in bug 18399 ( http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18399 ).

the libgd failing to compile is unrelated
