The release focus is on important bugfixes (buffer overflows and dvd 
navigation). MPEG-4 postfiltering is implemented now (ported from 
ffmpeg/libavcodec), HTTP redirects should work, and xine's volume can be 
controlled independantly of other applications using the 
XINE_PARAM_AUDIO_AMP_LEVEL engine parameter
