Description Pierre-Olivier Bouchard 2002-04-14 17:32:15 UTC
Building Mozilla with freetype anti-aliased font rendering by default, as with
downloading of the MS web fonts, would greatly increase the visual quality of
webpages rendered with mozilla. Debian currently is doing it, with msttcorefonts
to download the fonts. Is anybody doing this currently, or planning to do so soon?

Jon,

Since you had a bit of a flirt with freetype/freetype2, can you investigate this
please?
Comment 2 Jon Nelson (RETIRED) 2002-04-27 13:51:14 UTC
Seemant - since you just built 1.0rc1, and I have *no* experience with Mozilla,
you are probably best suited to this.

If I am wrong, let me know and I apologize!

Works fine for me with mozilla-1.0_rc1-r1.
