I have:

- emerged x11-drivers/xf86-video-nv-2.0.0
- restarted X
- it hangs, black screen, no error in Xorg.log
- checked revdep-rebuild but no need to remerge anything
- emerged back x11-drivers/xf86-video-nv-1.2.2.1
- everything returns to normal

I'd rather not mask this unless the driver doesn't work for anyone, but if
enough people have problems with the driver it might be necessary.  Feel free
to locally mask this specific version - if they patch it upstream, we'll
release -r1.

2.0.0.1 fixed the problem for me, should I close the bug as resolved ? Anyone
