Status Whiteboard:
Opened: 2003-03-07 05:44 0000
Description:   Opened: 2003-03-07 05:44 0000
Several ebuilds currently have a loose dependency on net-libs/libnet
These should be restricted to =net-libs/libnet-1.0.* as the new version of
libnet, libnet-1.1.0 has a new API.
When the new version of libnet is unmasked (as it is technically the upstream
stable version now) we should try and minimize any unpleasant depenency problems.

Reproducible: Always

patch for the net-analyzer files

To apply, in the net-analyzer directory
patch -p0 < net-analyzer.patch

I've attached some patches. Unfortunately, this is my first time really doing
patches. I'm sure it shows.

At first I had a patch for each file. And unfortunately, they weren't done from
the portage directory, but instead from the net-analyzer, net-dns, net-libs and
net-misc directories. Sorry, I'll be better at this next time.

I also put together all the net-analyzer patches in one patch. again, only
after first uploading all the seperate patches.
At least I figured out how to obselete them.

Anyways, this should fix all the loose dependencies on libnet.
