The xdm init.d script needs a new use for an optional dependency. It needs to
add "consolekit". You can find this in the Gentopia overlay (or the GNOME
overlay). gdm when using PAM will communicate to consolekit to provide info
about who's physically logged in at the machine. This replaces pam_console,
which I'm sure lots of people will be happy to get rid of.
