I wouldn't consider this a complete ebuild, since user action is required afterwards... you have to dump the D1X data (descent.hog, etc.) in /usr/share/games/d1x. You also need to download an update to the data files @ http://www.dxx-rebirth.com/download/dxx/res/d1datapt.zip, and apply the patches to the data files. I'm new to modifying ebuilds... all I did was take the 0.54 ebuild and modify it so that 0.55.1 installs. I'm not sure how to modify the ebuild to copy the data from the original media, then apply the patch. From what I hear, there's several different versions of the "original media", which may complicate things. Created attachment 194463 [details]
