I got the problem too. Look earlier for the problem though: >>> Test phase [not enabled]: dev-ruby/fastthread-0.5.3.1 >>> Install fastthread-0.5.3.1 into /var/tmp/portage/dev-ruby/fastthread-0.5.3.1/image/ category dev-ruby make: /bin/install: Command not found As a quick workaround, do ln -s /usr/bin/install /bin/install. Remove the link after the emerge though... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 159922 *** *** Bug 164286 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Once more the question: Why does this bug still occur even if this bug resp. the bug from which this is a duplicate (bug 159922) is closed as fixed? If this bug was fixed it shouldn't occur anymore. Btw, a workaround is not really a fix if the "FIXED" means the workaround. The fix is in the orignal bug: Please reemerge ruby. |
