I can confirm this for me. I can send from the device to this laptop (using gnome-obex-server), but not from this laptop to the device. net-wireless/gnome-bluetooth-0.8.0 dev-libs/openobex-1.3 $ gnome-obex-send TODO Browsing 00:02:C7:EF:6D:24 ... I upgraded to libbtctl/libbtctl-0.8.2.ebuild using a local overlay. And it solved the problem for me. Read somewhere that there were a bug in libbtctl that made this happen. And I had to restart my phone because the stupid thing didn't work... *Sigh* (In reply to comment #2) > I upgraded to libbtctl/libbtctl-0.8.2.ebuild using a local overlay. Can you please attach it here? Best regards Created attachment 105303 [details]
libbtctl-0.8.2 ebuild
I've modified only a little the ebuild of libbtctl-0.8.1: I confirm that libbtctl-0.8.2 fix this bug
Upgrading to libbtctl-0.8.2 worked for me too. *thumb up* I'm using libbtctl-0.8.2 ebuild for a long while and i can happily send files via bluetooth, isn't it worth for inclusion in portage? libbtctl-0.8.2 ebuild listed here works for me (In reply to comment #7) > libbtctl-0.8.2 ebuild listed here works for me > also for me, I think we should change the bug status to fixed This bug is related to this other one: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162639 *** Bug 162639 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 171966 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** added this to portage -- I tested it and it truly does fix gnome-obex-send. sorry to keep all the users waiting -- we're sort of understaffed in the bluetooth area at the moment (and I only *just* got a bluetooth capable phone to be able to use this stuff). *** Bug 158614 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
