I would like to mark xfsprogs-2.8.11 stable on ppc64 to fix bug #130436. it has
been in the tree for more than a month now and I'm using it frequently.
base-system: can I mark stable?
*** Bug 130436 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
SPARC doesn't have a stable and won't for the forseable future.
sys-fs/xfsprogs-2.8.11 USE="nls"
1. emerges on x86
2. passes collision test
3. trying to compile sys-fs/xfsdump-2.2.33-r1 fails, doesn't seem to be a
regression, see bug #143414 comment 5.
I don't use the xfs fs, so I can't do further tests.

xfsdump-2.2.38 and 2.2.42 both work with xfsprogs-2.8.11, so we might have to
stabilize one of those as well, along with xfsprogs
^^^ see above I can confirm this as well as I actively run xfs at home. What
version should we stable of xfsdump *yawns and goes sleepy while waiting for an
answer*
I think stabilizing xfsdump-2.2.42 will be OK - it's been in the tree since
September, has no open bugs (except #143414, but that's the error we're fixing
by stabilizing xfsdump), and works.
xfsdump and xfsprogs done for x86
both xfsprog and xfsdump stable on hppa.
Works fine on amd64.
