As I said in the summary, please stabilize app-cdr/dvd+rw-tools-7.0. It's been in portage for almost two months, works fine (for me, at least), has no bugs open against it and, most of all, it fixes that pesky problems with ulimit that renders the current stable version almost useless.
The summary says everything. Arches please test and stabilise.
It is already installed on my ppc-system and works for a while. So, stable.
Just one question, if i installed 6.1 and used the ulimit hack, is there a need to revert it somehow?
Stable on Alpha.
