a new version of mail-notification is avaiable (4.0)... It will be bumped into portage?

i created an ebuild. works fine with gnome-2.16. new killer feature is support for thunderbird/seamonkey mailboxes.

rc2 is in CVS now -- thanks for the bug and sorry for the delay.
