dev-ruby/gruff-0.1.2 has been in the tree since august, there are no open bugs
for it, and I have been using it on both x86 and AMD64 since that time,
specifically using some of the features that were new in 0.1.2. I have seen no
issues at all, and would like to ask to stabilize dev-ruby/gruff-0.1.2 on at
least x86 and amd64.
dev-ruby/gruff-0.1.2 USE="examples -doc"
1. emerges on x86
2. passes collision test
3. seems to work, the installed test files mostly fail because sample files
(mostly pics) are missing...

Isn't that a completely different issue? See bug 155646.

Sure. But if I am not able to build a dependency, I can't stabilise.
The same build error on rmagick happens on amd64, so no way of testing here
either...
I tested with dev-ruby/rmagick-1.14.1 which has been added on 03/12/2006. It
works, so we wait until that new rmagick version had its 30 day period and come
again.
rmagick-1.14.1 will not be stabilized on most arches anymore, instead
rmagick-1.14.1-r1 should be stabilized. Updating bug dependencies accordingly.
Adding back remaining arches to get this bug moving again.
