Just a quick note to say, that unless people are reading bug 152441 they won't have any idea that using "real_root=luks:/dev/blah" won't work anymore, and that it's now done by defining "crypt_root=/dev/blah".  I'd recommend adding an ewarn in postinst or similar.  It shouldn't really require a revision bump.
