Hi, here is an ebuild for eSpeak, a speech synthesizer for several languages, with male & female versions of English. I chose category "app-accessibility", to join festival and speechd. A simple speech example: speak -v en/en-f -s 105 "I am talking to you in a funny voice"

This ebuild was updated and submitted to portage. I also had it install the shared library and header file and removed the doc use flag since this is used for api documentation. Thanks for the ebuild.
