you need to inherit the gnome2 eclass and call gnome2_src_install in your
src_install (replacing make install).. and you'll inherit the pkg_postinst and
pkg_postrm too..

ok.. you took too much time, I fixed it. I saw this bite at least 3 users in
#gentoo-amd64 ...
