same problem here with blender 2.42a. Missing import/export 3ds functionality due to no installation of plugins.. I'm missing the export UV face layout functionality, which prevents me to continue my work. This quite a critical bug, in my opinion at least. try configuring your paths... scriptpath is setup properly. Look at my first post, the scripts are not installed. /usr/share/blender/scripts contains the scripts here, [ebuild R ] media-gfx/blender-2.42a USE="ffmpeg iconv jpeg nls openal png sdl -blender-game -openexr" It was the nls useflag. I guess NLS has to be non-optional then, for Blender. I still have to make a symlink in ~/.blender BTW: scripts -> /usr/share/blender/scripts/ or config the python script path to point to that path, but I guess this is Blender's fault. I fixed that part, thanks for the report. |
