Hello. I compile de ebuild media-gfx/gimmage-0.1.8 and work perfectly. Please,
test it and add this ebuild to ~ppc arch.

Sorry. The PPC processor is a G4, latest generation.

Part off my make.conf file.
CFLAGS="-mcpu=7450 -O2 -pipe -maltivec -mabi=altivec -mpowerpc-gfxopt"
CHOST="powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
