Maybe the following thread helps: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=446253 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 64615 *** This is *not* a duplicate of #64615. You probably think this because my emerge --info shows gcc-3.4.4. The error was taken from the log of the failure, but the emerge --info was taken *after* I had sucessfully reverted to gcc-3.4.4. The failure occurred during emerge -e world following upgrade to gcc-4.1.1 (gcc-config i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.1.1 && source /etc/profile). Sorry for the noise. I upgraded gcc-3.4.4 to gcc-4.1.1 like this: # gcc-config i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.1.1 # source /etc/profile # fix_libtool_files.sh 3.4.4 (missed this step the first time) # emerge --oneshot -av libtool (missed this step the first time) # emerge -e system # emerge -e world # emerge -C =sys-devel/gcc-3.4.4 (missed this step the first time) ...and now kdemultimedia-3.5.4 builds OK. |
