Please, please, please, don't modify scripts just to have "your" syntax in it, and no actual changes! It takes me several minutes to vimdiff them and see there are no changes. Your syntax will never be put in the tree, as Gentoo has prescribed rules for syntax and formatting. In general, 4-space wide tabs as TABS and opening and closing curly braces are at the end of the statement that initialise them. Please consider sticking to the Gentoo code rules to make my job of getting your ebuilds in the tree easier. Thanks. now in portage |
