I just got a new laptop with this chip in it and the 1.1.0_pre2 drivers were not working well for me (20K/sec throughput vs 180K/sec elsewhere on my wlan). I just changed the name of the ebuild (to just 1.1.0) and put it in my overlay and the package worked like a champ. Not only that, but my bandwidth is back up to where it should be.
