Hello sparc@ and hppa@,

media-sound/mpd upstream have released a release candidate of mpd-0.12.0,
and it has optional dependencies on pulseaudio and libshout.

hppa is missing a ~keyword on pulseaudio and libshout.
sparc is missing a ~keyword on pulseaudio.

Therefore I have dropped your arch's keywords from mpd-0.12.0_rc1. It is up
to you if you want them back, after marking necessary deps. I would
certainly appreciate it. :)

Relevant repoman output:

  DEPEND.bad 2
   media-sound/mpd/mpd-0.12.0_rc1.ebuild: ~hppa(default-linux/hppa/2005.0)
['media-sound/pulseaudio', 'media-libs/libshout']
   media-sound/mpd/mpd-0.12.0_rc1.ebuild:
~sparc(default-linux/sparc/sparc64/2006.0/2.4) ['media-sound/pulseaudio']
  RDEPEND.bad 2
   media-sound/mpd/mpd-0.12.0_rc1.ebuild: ~hppa(default-linux/hppa/2005.0)
['media-sound/pulseaudio', 'media-libs/libshout']
   media-sound/mpd/mpd-0.12.0_rc1.ebuild: ~sparc(default-linux/sparc/sparc64/2006.0/2.4) ['media-sound/pulseaudio']

If you're interested in having mpd keyworded, please do your magic with pulseaudio and libshout, and readd your ~keyword to mpd-0.12.0_rc1.

Thanks!

Forgot the damn button again. :/

This would require >media-sound/esound-0.2.36-r2 to be ~arch first.
Comment 3 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-11 05:00:04 UTC
esound is good for both arches now.
Comment 4 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-11 08:48:15 UTC
~sparc-tastic.
