current stable app-office/kspread (1.4.2) fails to build with GCC 4.1.
if possible, please stabilize >=app-office/kspread-1.4.2-r1 so we can work on
getting GCC 4.1 into stable. the only difference between 1.4.2 and 1.4.2-r1
appears to be a GCC 4.1 patch so this shouldn't be much trouble.
thanks ;d
PS: 1.4.2-r1 has file collisions. I haven't tested the 1.5.x ebuilds.

Ryan - if you want to request a stabilization, you've got to CC the arch teams
as they do the stabilizing :)
ppc already has a version working with gcc41 (1.5.1) stable.
(In reply to comment #3)
Caleb - I don't want to step on any maintainer's toes by requesting stable when
they might not want to for whatever reason. If you like, I can CC the archs
myself on any packages you maintain. Just drop me an email. ;d
Though gcc-4.1.1 is still masked across the board on SPARC, ebuild has been
stablized.
The file collision has been mentioned, koffice-libs fails on it's tests, other
than that this is tested on amd64...

ia64 has >=gcc-4 still package.masked. Closing, leaving them in CC in case they
want to stabilize this regardless.
