From webpage, "Stan is a console application that analyzes binary streams and
calculates several useful statistical information from the observed data. It
features statistical, pattern and bit analysis. Stan has been designed as a
"swiss-knife" for first steps in reverse engineering and cryptographic
analysis."

Should be in a different category completely, not media-video. I don't know
which one though.

I suggest either sci-mathematics or app-misc.

sci-Herd,
what do you think about this one?

Added sci-mathematics to CC, to specifically ask math people.

I don't remember us having a crypto project/herd and hardened does not seem
proper either. So, if there are no immediate takers we should ask on -dev
(mailing list). If math people do not want it and we do not find crypto or
whatever people who would take it then I'd say it should go into sci-misc
category.

I don't really think it fits well into sci-mathematics. As a matter of fact,
in the bug leading to the ebuild the author of the package suggested
app-crypt and from reading the description this seems fitting to me.

best,
Markus

moved to app-crypt, committed in CVS
