networkstatus header files and the libkdeinit_knetworkmanager.la library do not
get copied to their approriate locations when you install
kde-base/networkstatus.

Were exactly do you expect them to be installed? For what I can see the file
gets installed in the same place that kdepim installs it.

the two patches included ensure network status builds the bits and pieces
needed to compile and install knetworkmanager

the patches were obtained from here:
