Description Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-16 12:35:32 UTC
Hi,

a user read /etc/make.conf.example and added -mtarget=970 to his CFLAGS, but this flag does not exist, so make.conf.example is wrong. (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-354418.html)

Could you please change all -mtarget to -mtune?

Regards,

Markus

What portage revision are we talking about here?

s/mtarget/mtune/g

Is a simple s/mtarget/mtune/g okay?
Comment 3 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-16 23:22:08 UTC
I see this in 2.0.51-r2 and 2.1_rc1-r2, so seems like every portage version is effected.

yes, a simple s/mtarget/mtune/g would be everything that is needed :-)
