I can't find the pikdev tarball.

!!! Couldn't download pikdev-0.7.1.tar.gz. Aborting.
Even though the "author requested" this not to be redistributed
(restrict=nomirror), it's gpl-2. Nothing is stopping us from redistributing
this on our distfiles. Any way we can get the package author to reconsider
his/her request?
I had no response from the author. He only provides the newer versions (we need
to get around to having them in the tree).
I pushed the old tarball to the gentoo mirrors, and changed the SRC_URI for
now.

Aparently the problem is still there, the files aren't on the mirrors.
Please refer to bug 136668, and please either reopen or solve this bug.
Renato, the tarball is on the distfiles mirror just fine from what I can tell.
I just tried it out here. robbat2's resolution worksforme.
Are you emerging version 0.7.1-r2 (~x86)? The -r2 ebuild still has this:
> SRC_URI="http://pikdev.free.fr/${P}.tar.gz"
>(...)
># restrict at Authors request
>RESTRICT="nomirror"
Only version -r1 is mirrored.
reopening. Renato is correct. -r2 has this problem, too.
That's ok. Thanks!
Now I'm waiting for version 0.9.1.. But until then I can work with 0.7.1-r2 :)
Once again, thanks!
