"udept is a collection of Portage scripts, maintenance tools and analysis
tools, written in bash and powered by the dep engine."
The program itself and ebuilds can be found.

Sorry, in my first comment I wanted to write "The program itself and ebuilds

Obviously something went wrong.

Ed provides 3 ebuilds (0.5.91.2, 0.5.92, 0.5.92.1).

The state of udept in sunrise is a bit mixed up at the moment. 0.5.94.1 is in
sunrise but the source isn't available. 0.5.95.2 is availalbe, but not in
sunrise. Is it possible to get commit access to sunrise?

udept-0.5.95.2-r1 is now in the tree with KEYWORDS="~x86".  I will file a bug
with the ppc and amd64 teams to add the ~ppc and ~amd64 keywords to the ebuild.
