fluxbox-0.9.15.ebuild contains the following two ewarn lines among a lot of
einfo:
ewarn "Note that menumaker and similar utilities do *not* support"
ewarn "this out of the box."
As I have PORTAGE_ELOG_CLASSES="warn error log" in my make.conf, I got an email
containing only these lines, which is a bit out of context. It would be nice to
have the sentence modified to give a hint what this is all about, or make it
just an einfo instead.
Well, so set ELOG so that you get einfo as well to get the context if you need
it.
comment #1:
This will not help much, because ELOG destroys context as well. The ewarn will
be written before all einfo lines.
IMHO, the severity (warn, info, error) should never be changed in one context.
Fixed in 0.9.15.1-r1, and 0.9.14-r2 and in 1.0rc
