app-portage/eix-0.5.1-r2 works fine here on a PA7300LC box, I suggest adding it to ~hppa

I've been using eix on hppa since June 2005. I marked 0.5.1-r2 ~hppa because 0.5.3 still has some issues (bug #126358).
