Description:   Opened: 2002-12-12 05:40 0000
libwrap.so is needed by some software
(e.g.: gnustepweb, which i currently use)

it is a showstopper if (some) developers have to manually tweak the ebuild (and the makefile) to get
this important lib.

You don't happend to have a patch for tcp-wrappers Makefile to create
libwrap.so
laying around?

------- Comment #2 From tobias 2002-12-16 06:22:27 0000 -------
no reasonable one, but debian has!

we may look at their diff...
et voila, we should have a makefile for libwrap.so

i could do that, if you really wants me to.

A fresh day and a fresh start solved the problems I had with the compilation of
the
debian patch. New revision (r5) of tcp-wrappers has been commited with ~
markings. Please test.

I've masked -r5 in packages.mask becuse the .so files breaks things. I'll see
if
something can be done about it.

This should be fixed in tcp-wrappers-7.6-r6. If not, please reopen this bug.
